I am about to buy a 2009 RS Spyder and I was wondering what the freight cost and dealer paper work should run. They want $14,000 plus freight,paperwork and tax.

I would get the total numbers from them...mine was $600 total, but that was in 2008...that also didn't include tax, which is dependent upon what your state taxes are...

I have never paid Freight or prep for my Spyder or 13 BRP Jet Skies!!
Its ALL $$ in their pocket.
Bargain for Cost + Tax + Reg + the conveyance fee. Thats it.

There is still a delivery charge whether it's been sitting there or not...that is usually passed on to the customer...as far as tax goes, that's a state law and few dealerships are gonna play with taxes as they don't make money on them and that money goes to the state...
