I ran across these rear led signals and they were the look I was after. To top it off they are solid machined aluminum and built VERY well... color is almost a perfect match.:2thumbs:

:2thumbs: Sweet... Did you install the metric turn signal stabilizer as well.

I bought 6 ohm resistors but didn't need them. Everything works fine and I am code free...so far.

Source as in manufacturer?

Not so much the manufaturer, but the retail outlet, mail order supplier, local distributor, i.e. where can you buy them?

Those are a very nice match for your Spyder. :congrats: on finding them, and not throwing any codes as well.

Thanks. I unplugged the turn signals and it didn't code so I figured the turn signals weren't monitored by the system...or at least it wouldnt cause limp mode like the tail/brake lights.

I purchased them on E-bay but the seller is no longer carrying them.

Mine retailed for $59 and I bought them for $11:D

I found a similar product in satin black ($40)

Ebay Item 280414473709

and chrome($40)

I rode tonight for about 30 min. Still no problems related to the turn signals.
I do believe they may have the typical faster flash rate associated with LED lights....I may use the resistors but I don't know if it is really necessary?

Any pro's have any advice? Will the slightly quicker rate burn them up prematurely or damage the electrical system?:dontknow:

Here is a picture of them at night...turned on the flasher and managed to catch them with my cell phone.

Those look nice and bright. Sorry, I don't know anything about the flash rate.

Edit to add: I was just checking out the EBay deal, and they have the following statement on there:

**some bikes my experience faster flash rates see our flash rate controller section**

Hope that helps

I believe the flash rate controllers are simple resistors...I still haven't found an answer for whether or not the faster rate would negatively affect the signals or electrical system. I tried searching for an answer yesterday but didnt have any luck.
