Thank you for the compliments. I teamed up with these guys to create something that has never been done. It was fun & the response has been all positive. Thanks guys! We finished the video shoot today. I'll post some pics when I get them.

I do have one request. Can some one post a pic of the passenger foot pegs with the extenders attached? I think I worded that right. Thanks in advance!

Just out of curiosity, what kind of paint is that exactly?

At one time I was looking at the Dupont Luminescent paint that changes colors based on how the sun hits it. This is definitely another very cool paint that I have not seen anywere around here.

...and if you dont mind me asking, what's the typical cost for a paint job like that?

It's Spectra Chrome (Candy Apple Red). It can be done in all colors. Here's a link to their website.

I'll give them a call and find out what they charge just for painting. I had a lot of things custom made and modified, so I'm not sure what it is for just doing the paint.

Yeah, she's kinda bright! I told my wife between the loud exhaust and this paint job, if some one hits me, they meant to do it. Hopefully we can get together and ride. Again thanks for all of the compliments & positive feedback.

If that paint is as mirror like as it looks and the sun is shining off it, maybe if they hit you it was because they were temporarily blinded. I might do something like that on some parts -- but not brave enough to do the entire bike.

Did you ever get a price for the paint job? I looked online and the paint costs about $2-$3 per square foot but it also requires some new equipment, probably some training, etc -- so not sure what a paint shop would charge.

Hey, never thought about it that way. The paint job is about 4500 to 5000. Just having certain pieces done would bring the price down a lot.

Thanks again for all of the compliments. Yeah it was a little expensive, but to have a one of kind bike it's totally worth it. Here are the pictures. I posted them a little while ago, but forgot to post the link.

Saw them... thanks..

I love your paint. I think is awesome.. but I would have gone with chrome parts instead of black.. just my humble opinion..
I think that chrome would give your Spyder the ultimate edge...

chrome swingarm, brackets, pegs etc...

Glad you like them. I thought about chroming the other parts, but I would have had to send the rims away to be done. They wouldn't have been done and returned to me for about 6 weeks. I started the process just before spring, which is the busiest time for paint and chrome shops. This winter I'll be having the rims & sprocket cover chromed. I don't want to make it to shiny (I know to late). I like the painted chrome to black ratio, with a little chrome mixed in (see side picture). Believe me I've gone over this in my head since it's been done. Just think my original plan was to have it painted the Iron Man colors. It would have been a darker red & gold chrome. That was gonna cost more than I wanted to pay. Thanks again for all of the compliments.
