just got these put on and they are GREAT but you have to put mounts in the bar ends or when you go fast they will push on your handbrake or your clutch ( I of course do not have a clutch) but OUTSTANDING wind and cold protection, of course after 6 nights of working it was under 0 with the wind when I got up, GOT to ride.

I've talked about getting something very similar. Bruce aka Director posted some he got last year and said they worked great. Yeah, we are back to below freezing temps again for a short time. I wish it would just get warm and stay there.

I've been thinking about getting a set of Gauntlets for my Spyder as well. I can ride my sled using just my heavy gloves down to -20F but on the Spyder, using the same gloves, my hands freeze even at 30F... no wind protection.

I think that would be true, I don't want to screw with anthing electrical if possible on the spyder, and I can take this off quick once its not below 0 when I get up.

I will have a full test of them this weekend on the trip to the cities.

Uncomplicated, Not Expensive, Great way to get rid of the wind chill factor and they peel right off when the temps get warm.

My Gerbing heated gloves are great! My "wrench" put heat demons on for me also - one mod I wouldn't recommend - way to much work for so little heat.

+I've used a set of these on every bike since the late 70s, and they've continued to work fine for me on RAKNID (down to 1*F this past winter).

However, I'm extremely pleased to have removed them now that Spring has sprung. I continue to wear my snowmobile mitts in the cold mornings though.

I, too, don't like either electrics, or messing with the electrical components.
