I'm currently with Commerce.
Progressive Ins has good rates, but poor claims.

What are you using and how do you like them?

I'm not in Mass but I am your neighbor in CT - we use Geico Cycleguard.

Rates are good, haven't had to use them for anything though.

We use Geico for auto too. Our rates went up for that but not due to accidents - we have a clean driving bill but it went up for some CT rate filing thing (whatever the hell that means).

Anyway, one good thing about Geico for the cars is have "mechanical breakdown" insurance and it will cover things so you don't have to shell out all that $$$ on an extended warranty on your auto.

I'll have to check and see if Cycleguard does the same thing.

Not according to their own website:
GEICOŽ Motorcycle insurance is not available in Michigan, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Delaware. Please contact 1-800-44CYCLE (1-800-442-9253) if you are in North Carolina. Thank you for your interest in GEICO.

My press release was from the Geico site also, must only apply to auto insurance I guess.

According to The Howes Insurance Agency, "GEICO entered the MA private passenger auto insurance market and wrote its first policy on Monday, May 18, 2009..."

But it seems you are correct, Sopher,--that's only for autos.

(BTW, I have Commerce for cars and Spyder. I like the online bill pay, I like their customer service via email. We'll see how they do with this whole window break-in and GPS theft incident...)

I'm with Commerce. Never had a problem with them and the rates are as good as any from comparisons I've done.
