There is also a new one on EBay that I saw last night that peaked my interest. I tried to get my wife to get it for her red Spyder, but she said no. ;)

I can give a very positive endorsement to Peter at Spyderdetailing.com also. He does great work and my friend who does wraps and helped me put it on said it was the best material he had ever worked with. If you click on my name above the avatar it will take you to the album with more photos of my Spyder.

I've had a great experience with the good folks at Spiralus Designs. I get constant comments on my graphics. You can see the final results on my albums, but here's a shot:

I have to +1 to Marilyn's and Brevet's recommendations.

Talk to Marc (or email him (marc@spiralusdesign.com)) at SpiralusDesigns and see if he can give what you need.

(The closeup photos of his carbon fiber wrap (http://www.spiralusdesign.com/motorcycle.html) are of my Spyder.)

Good luck shopping!

I have the AutoTrim Design Flame graphics kit 2 on my Spyder since June '09 and they still look brand new. These decals are of high quality, fit perfectly and went on easily. The price isn't bad either. Here's their website: http://www.autotrimdesign.net/items_78165.html

Just an update:

I have been playing around with ideas for paint and/or graphics, and I ended up removing some of the Spiralus Designs (http://www.spiralusdesign.com/motorcycle.html) wrap I had put on last summer.

Marc at Spiralus (marc@spiralusdesign.com) advised using a little heat and some patience.

The pieces came off with gentle pressure and a blowdryer (not a heat gun) aimed at the still adhered part as I pulled. No tacky residue, nice and clean and shiny, no damage to paint that I could see or feel.

So while you can't really reuse removed pieces, your commitment versus desire to change things back with a wrap is not as permanent as with paint.

My $0.02

:agree: That is one of the primary reasons I went with the wrap instead of paint. If I decide to change it out later it won't be nearly as big a deal, or cost issue.

You should be able to find a place that does vinyl graphics near you. My wife's Spyder has some very cool pinstriping designs on it that most people think are painted on. They are surprised when we tell them a guy at the flea market did it for her. They have a computer and C&C vinyl cutting machine, and can make just about anything you can dream of for a decal design.

Hay Spyderwolf,
Thank you. It was your outstanding graphics that made me decide to go with Peter. I was milling around and found his web site and then I saw your bike and Wow!! I was sold. I told Peter that as well. He's a good guy, I have it finished now, but the pics are not that good.

Those are good pictures. The design also fits in great with the silver Spyder you used to have. You will now begin being amazed at how many people tell you they like your paint job, and wonder where you got it done.

I bought one of his stock designs off EBay when I first saw it. The interesting thing is while it is still available on his web site, I have not seen him advertise it on EBay anymore. :dontknow:

SpyderWolf,

I wish there were a way to see how SPY-10 would look on a red GS. I like SPY-10 b/c it's not too busy. I may just have to spring for it.

Auto Trim Design offers 4 decal kits, pre-cut to fit the body panels perfectly. These are not wraps, and go on real easy. This link will take you directly to the Spyder page: http://www.autotrimdesign.net/items_78165.html

I purchased a spider graphic from this place:
http://www.decal-orations.com/

The cool thing is you can choose your graphic, then your color, then your size. I got mine in reflective black: it looks black in the daytime but bright white at night when headlights hit it.

That is a tough call. I do like the carbon fiber look, and it may actually look pretty good with the red background. I honestly did not know how mine would look when I bought it either, and just took a chance. The only benefit I had was that mine had yellow in the design. :D The carbon fiber should go with just about anything I would think. HMF offers their pipes in carbon fiber and a color combined and those look really good.

Any of them going to Spyderfest?

I am not sure if any of the wrap vendors are going to make it to Spyderfest, but there should not be a shortage of designs to look at on all of the Spyders there.

Just wondering if anyone has applied an AMR Graphic Kit? I've searched the forum & haven't come up with anything on it.
