Kind of like asking how high is up!!! What kind of riding are you planning on doing.. Touring long distance or short trips hither and yon....Oh yes.. how about the kind of riding style be your forte'.. Leaning forward in a European wind blown riding style or the American, sitting up, comfort style. Hey folks, you gotta make that decision.. As for me and my cruiser mate.. that be my wife.. We are in for long distance comfort cruising.. sans the back ache. What ever you choose.. get out there and do some riding.. Either choice beats sitting at home watching American Idol. What's the old saying?.... "Gitter Done".. and do it your way!! Len

What are you going to get?
I'am leaning hard toward the RS althought i do plan on touring a little i like the rs cause i can truely make it my own by adding the things i want and believe me the list is long and subject to change. That 2010 blue rs is sharp. :2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

:agree: except for the part about American Idol, I choose not to ride while watching American idol and feel more comfortable in my big lounge chair with the remote:ohyea: at home.

RT

Although its apples to oranges ( cadilac to camaro) comparison

btw I will have both also.

You can make the RS more like a tourer easier than RT sportier.

RS, modified cruiser-style. RT is an awesome machine for touring types, but I neither need, nor want, all the creature comforts, electronic distractions, trailer towing capacity, or excess Tupperware. In fact, if they could make an RS simpler, more reliable, and quicker to work on, on the road, I would like it even better.

I prefer the sportier type.

I'm really glad to see the RS responses. I thought that most everyone was all hot and bothered about the RT and I was worried that BRP would eventually drop the RS due to lack of interest.

RS - Faster and sportier.

Can-Am isn't likely to steer away from sportier look. They are likely to keep both going to please a larger group of people and put out new models for both looks in alternate years .... like they do with their jet skiies ... RXT vs. RXP

Here is what i tallied so far
9 for the rs
4 for the rt
1 for yes
1 for a lecture on deciding for my self but it was not about me i know what i want and as soon as i can get one i will and all the venders that help this sight will be a little better off also. My add ons keep changing but the fact that i want a spyder never has.

If I was going cross-country in 5 days again, I definately would want to do it on an RT.
