Well today I got the Spyder back together, I had to borrow a neighbor to help get the exhaust back together after putting in the Gold wing gaskets, The left gasket was half eaten away and the right one was not there. Glad I got the air cleaner done and the Kewlmetal installed before the stroke hit me. I am walking OK a little foot trouble the big deal is the dead left hand. It is plenty strong just not much feeling or fine motor control.
The bike started right up and ran great. So I saddled up and rode a few blocks, then a few miles. Felt good to be back in the saddle. No problem clutching at all. I did not think about a couple of other things. It is hard to put on a glove with little feeling in your hand and I had to concentrate to get my foot to cooperate on the gear shift, the signal light is almost imposable. . After riding I had lots of fun getting my helmet off. But I am back riding less than two weeks after my stroke. I know it will get better. (I hope my typing gets better also)

Glad to hear you got a chance to ride. It'll warm up here in a month or so. By then the hand should be in great shape. Just keep squeezing the rubber ball.

Don't worry about the signal light. very few people use them anyway:roflblack:
About the typing I can't type worth a rat's a** and i didn't have a stroke!!
The best physical therapy is to ride, that will keep your mind active and not thinking about the stroke. :2thumbs:

I wish you the best
