:yikes:
What happens in a case like that? Do you have to pay taxes right away before they give it to you?

:yikes: indeed :D
they gave me the option to pay now or by apr. 15th whether i take the car or cash and they are picking up sales tax and doc fee so i CAN drive the car off without any money out of my pocket for now. i will be calling porsche dealers in the area and see i how much they are willing to pay but i am sure i will be able to get more out of it by taking the car, turn around and sell it.

Wow! That is amazing. I wonder if California is going to try to make you pay off their debt with the taxes on that bad boy.

I believe you pay income tax on the list price and pay sales tax on the list price.

Friends of our won a very expensive boat several years back and the total taxes paid was almost half the list price; they wouldn't have bought the boat at 50% off either, still too expensive!

:congrats: Way cool! Don't ya just hate it when the gov't has to have a hand in it though with that dirty word called TAXES. that word is worse to me than any nasty swear word I ever use. Even worse than the worst word I know and that one I don't use a whole lot unless I really hate the person.
