Is your new RT a PE? If so, sounds like delivery of the PEs has started. I'd sure like to know what your number is if it's a PE. Let us know when you get it and take a few pictures of unique items related to the PE like the seat. If it is a PE, maybe mine won't be far behind. I ordered it in Sept. Thanks and :congrats:

Your post made me smile. :D I know you are a very new member so you probably have no idea, but 382 miles is barely a lunch run for this man. He already has ridden an RT from Washington D.C. back to TN and taken it for many miles as part of the RT5. I would not be surprised if later today, you've been caught and surpassed.:joke::D

The dealer recieves them in a crate, and must put on the trunk, windshield, front tires and fenders. He must also charge the battery and hook it up, and do a number of other items to get it ready.

Well, that makes sense, but what got me going on the question was the pics that Lamont posted with a semi and presumably the driver giving the appearance of taking delivery of the RT. By the way, my dealer is charging me $297.50 for freight and assembly. I wonder how that compares to everyone else?

They come as Scotty says. The dealer I talked to said it took him 6 hours to put the first RT together and 1.5 hours on the second one. Mine was special:D

Not too many of us are going to get our RT, special delivery, trucked to your door.

And if you have it sent UPS it may end up at Lamont's no matter where it was supposed to end up! :yikes:
