Oh, man... if that quad were only legal under DOT rules. I'd be all over that!

Just make sure you have a cool $65K available before you test ride it.

They had the 4 wheeler at Deals Gap a couple of years ago when I was there. At the time they said it was going to run about 50K, I guess it's gone up from there.

Sorry but I don't see more than 20K of machine there.nojoke

Yeah, for those who don't think you lean on a Spyder...take a look at the lean on the BMW...maybe two wheelers will understand a bit better?

no competition priced that way..period. For the money the Spyder is 1000 times better.

It's amazing how some of you can guage the worth by looking at pics...

I would guess these are much more stable than our Spyder and assuming you can drift through a corner a lot more fun to drive.

I've sat on the quad's - they look cool, sit nice, but are super pricey. I don't see any mention of 3-wheel drive or anything in the photos that would suggest 3-wheel drive. No luggage area either, or at least until Magic Man would get his hands on one.

I was thinking more like the 15-18 k range at most...

My coments would be, awesome looking from the side, fugly from the front. Looks like it would be easy to get your foot stuck between the tire and the right side passenger floor board, and I don't like the name. (Taurus) Good points that I see at a glance, Power steering that does not seem to be computorized, hand brake, shaft drive, alot of billet aluminum. I would like to know more, but I don't think it would be for me.

Interesting and would love to ride one. Not interested at the price they will probably want though.

I am puzzled at the comments praising the shaft drive. What is the attraction? Sure, shaft drive has some advantages but it is heavier, more expensive and eats up more HP than the belt drive we have on the Spyder.

I have a BMW and they are of great quality. I bet this three wheeler is all that. If one can afford it. Then its not a problem. Some people who dont have that kind of play money down the product.everything is relavant. The more you earn the more you have. Thats all. Bottom line is. That is one cool three wheeler.

I like the looks. More like a motorcycle than a converted snowmobile. Wonder what stability system they have itn it. ABS brakes are a must. I like the single pedal for all the brakes in the Spyder. I think one could get in a lot of trouble without ABS and front and rear brakes separate.

This would not be legal in Alabama...

Legal in.....??

Arizona
Idaho
Montana
Wyoming
South Dakota

However, Voyager conversion is an add-on that makes a motorcycle a "four wheel" vehicle. Makes ya wonder.

I think one could get in a lot of trouble without ABS and front and rear brakes separate.ABS is either standard or optional on most bigger BMW bikes, don't see why it would'nt be here. My bet here is they are also linked brakes, does'nt matter which brake you pull, they all work. The spyder is this way also if you get the hand brake mod.

Unfortunately, at least in CA, a 4 wheeler must meet all DOT rules for an automobile, including full windshield, wipers, shoulder and lap belts and airbags, to mention just a few. Some states get all the fun.

And at $65k - if I were to sell ALL my other toys... I still wouldn't get there, lol. Oh well.

I wonder if they are going to put a Rotax engine in it? ;)

Don't forget that BMW first made bikes...those are the true Beemers...the Bimmer is actually the car!

I have an old BMW convertible...still works great...anything they make is made well.

It will likely be made a lot better than the Spyder...look at all the problems people are having...BMW will not put out a product with issues...they do a very good job with engines and build...sometimes the electrical systems are much to be desired, but that's the case with Mercedes, Audi, VW, and BMW...German engines top-notch...electrical systems, eh...
