Hi folks!
I'm new to the forum. I'm McSpyder out of Colorado. I have a 2019 RTL that started acting up today. A sudden temperature drop of 20 degrees and snow flurries. Approximately 5 miles in the traction nanny kicked in reducing the speed to about 20 mph. I turned around and almost immediately it released. Maybe 10 minutes later I pulled over to text a message, turned off the engine, and a few minutes later wouldn't restart. After a while and several failed attempts, it did finally restart but got a transmission failure code. Ultimately, it did as it should and I took it home. The thing here is that the steering nanny started kicking in when there were zero reasons for it to do so. I'm going to take it back up tomorrow to see if maybe it just glitched out because it sensed slick pavement and has reset> If not, I guess it'll be a trip to the dealers. Any of you ever experienced anything like this? Many thanks!

Welcome to the forum McSpyder. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the Spyder RTL in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum when you are able to. The Spyder will not handle the snow well at all; that may be your problem. You should repost you question in the Spyder RT Touring area of the forum when you are able to post in that area. The steering and brake nanny as we call it will kick in when it detects the wheels slip or not turning at the same rate of speed as the others. But post it up when you can or do a search when you are able to. I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
