Was riding to a friend's cabin Friday afternoon, in fairly extreme heat, watching clouds appear and boil in front of me. I had the random thought that it would actually feel really good if it rained a bit - less than 5 minutes later I was splattered with massive drops of rain and a minute after that I was under the canopy of a gas station in a hail storm.

Managed to route North and then drift southeast behind the storm - amazing and a bit intimidating to watch. My roads were wet and full of puddles but I stayed just behind the rain for the last hour of the drive and got these shots

Met my wife in town for dinner. Came out and saw black storm clouds on the horizon. I was on the Spyder she was in her car and said she was going shopping. I headed home and just skirted the hail storm. OUCH, but no damage. Wife car repair 8K+. The mobile hail car repair industry was operating in town for a month after that storm.

If I were you I would take that first pic and make a print and frame it in your garage. Nice!
