Hi Don60!
I use a GoPro Hero+3 Black Edition, but you can get newer versions of the "GoPro" camera these days.
I bought mine with an extra package that included things like a suction cup, various adhesive mounts, underwater housing, and various "arms" so one can mount the camera different ways.
The onboard battery is not lasting very long, but I have modified the normal housing so I can now have my charge cable connected to a usb port which I mounted by the switch cluster in front of the steering handle.
That way I have power for as long as I need.
I used a slightly curved adhesive mount and placed it on top of my helmet. That has been the best place for me, as the bumps in the road are usually neutralized by the body, and I can turn my head to record things by the roadside as I pass.

Thank you for your response. Have been on some great rides last couple months and just need a way to record and share them! Will look into a GoPro and mounts. Great way of documenting/recording your once in a lifetime rides!
