Last year we spent a few days riding in the Smoky Mtns. and surrounding areas. Fall foliage was nearing it's peak, so lots of color. Of course, we had to ride The Dragon while we were there - again. Here's a video link for those that would like to see.

The Smokies are my favorite eastern playground. Excellent roads and very friendly people. I've done the TOD several times, including at night in the rain in late December. It's a Bucket List item but I much prefer avoiding it in favor of the Rattler, Cherahola, Moonshiner, Foothill Pkwy, BRP, and other less traveled routes.
