Hi. I want to add saddlebags to my Ryker 600. I've seen online via Youtube where one person placed their saddlebags directly over the driver's seat and sits on top. I'm concerned that this will cause the right saddlebag to be exposed to the exhaust pipe. I have a 32L Comie rear tank and would like to attach it and a set of saddlebags to the Maxx Mount without interfering with the rear wheel function. Many Amazon reviews suggest that the Comie case base is fragile and can easily break off. I'm willing to use improved bolts and steel braces to make it more secure. Does anyone have any ideas for doing this securely and safely? Thanks!

Sorry, I have no idea. But I'm interested in what/how you do it....

On my recent trip to Arkansas, I ran with soft bags over the driver seat. The right bag did get warm, but not so much that it was an issue. I just made sure to not put anything in that bag that could not stand the warmth. The bag was undamaged after 900 miles.

Here are some examples of how I did mine. The first is just throw over, the second is permanent, the third is hard bags193514
