Anyone know who makes the spider 6 speed tranny.

Rotax has a along term reputation for building super tough power plants. They build everything for BRP, Spyders, Seadoo, Skidoo, S x S's. Plus, Aprillia, Ducati, BMW, KTM, Cagiva, and other European makers you never heard of have all used Rotax motor/Transmission units. What is your concern about the Spyder transmission?

Don't forget they make (or at least used to and maybe still do, I haven't looked lately) excellent aircraft engines too.

I just looked at their website. They do make engines for more than just ultralights!
