I recently purchased my 4th Spyder and since day one it has shown a rear suspension fault every time I ride. I now have approximately 6000 and just recently had it in the Dealership. This was the second time for the suspension fault. They tested and tightened everything. It’s holding air and the compressor is working but when I ride I get the fault. Now here’s my question and forgive me if it sounds silly. I do not carry a passenger, the PSI is set at 25. I weigh 103 lbs. Is it possible my weight isn’t being read by the sensors? I can’t understand why I keep getting this fault. Any thoughts???

:coffee: Welcome to the Spyder Forum.

What does the Dealer have to say about the issue?
Do they have the 'Buds equipment and software,'?
I am surprised by this problem. Should be able to find and fix this issue.
Does the Dealer have a certified Spyder mechanic?

You being 103lbs .....should not be an issue.

The dealership tells me everything is working fine but evidently it’s not. I will be asking them about the equipment.

The only thing I can think of is - is the plug under the rear of your seat connected ....if it is I wonder if there is a fault in the connection or wiring .... good luck .... Mike

I’ll be asking the mechanic these questions.

How dose it ride? Is it soft and feel like it's bottoming out or hard and not giving at all? Reason I ask is that the bike has to be adjusted by buds for a set ride height, so it has a base line for the computer, part of the stability crap I guess, some one else can explain it better than I can, but what I do know if it's not set right it will be very unhappy, and it will throw codes!! Good luck you may have to take it to another shop, maybe that part of these bikes are over there heads!!:dontknow:

:chat: What Year And Model is your Spyder. I am guessing that Your Spyder has the Automatic Rear Suspension. Please tell us the fault code if you have it. It Should be on your Dealer Work Order Papers that they should have given you. ........:helpsmilie:
You said that this issue has been going on for awhile. Maybe A Factory Quality Control problem. Maybe a Software issue. ........:dontknow:
