Hey, folks. Some of you may have seen my Spyder on eBay. I'm happy to say she sold for just under $14k. She went to a Marine whom I invited to join this community. His wife serves in the Navy and she bought one too. Be sure to give him a hard time for buying an Air Force themed bike! :)

I'll check in from time to time. PM me if you need to reach me sooner.

I ended up buying a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan Mean Streak. I'm putting a sidecar on it so I can travel with both of my boys. I'll post some pics in the Spring when she's done.

I think I now know why you were asking about a side car for the Spyder - might it have to do with "both boys" at once with their dad?

You had to solve the problem another way.

If so, that's so cool dad - and priceless. Best of luck to you - and be safe.

Haven't been watching e-Bay so didn't know your Spyder was for sale. Boy, after all that work you put into it. You must really want the two passenger option badly.

Good luck with the Mean Streak. Be careful with the sidecar rig. I hear they can be tricky do drive. No VSS standard.

Enjoy your time with your boys. They are lucky to had a dad who wants to include them in his hobby!

My littlest guy calls all motorcycles "da-da". When he gets home, he runs to my closest motorcycle and says, "ride??". His favorite toys are motorcycles and he rides his little bike around saying, "vroom, vroom!".

I never had a chance. It made this an easy decision.
