How do I see the oil level on the dip stick 2021 1330. The oil is clear and is almost impossible to see the level on the dip stick

Get yourself a piece of rag or kitchen paper & when you pull the dipstick out, simply lay it on the rag/paper - the wet bit is the oil!

Just got done changing the oil on both my wife's 2018 F3 and my 2020 RT. That is what I also do.

After the first oil change it will become easier to see on the dipstick.

I use an ultraviolet flashlight. The oil shows up well with it.

:coffee: As other people have said, Use a clean paper towel.
Lay the dipstick on your towel and see the level.
Use a flash light if you want.

Works for this ole man's eyes. ......

Just pour in 6 quarts and call it good But really, it sometimes is a little hard to read. I just take it out in the sun and it shows up pretty good.

I tried the paper towel it worked OK. Next used a ultraviolet flash light and it was amazing the oil on dip stick showed up perfect. The ultraviolet flash light is now standard in my tool kit.

:gaah: ...NOT a good idea !!!! .... 5 qts., then bring to full operating temp and measure. It's way easier to ADD then it is to subtract oil .... and at 5 qts, it may only be a few ounces short ..... been there done that .... good luck .... Mike
