had the chance to make a test-sitting on the new RT yesterday ..they have really buildt in everything what i wanted ( couldīnt test the brake-system..) - i`ll call it black monster !!
does anyone know what is the max.speed .. someone said only 100mls??

I don't know what the max speed is on the RT:dontknow: but I do know it will take you longer to get there than on the RS.

Remember the first post about SM5? Maximum speed 110! Mine have a defect in the ECM...:yikes:

lamont - if you have driven both versions of this engine - what do you think is the better one for the spyders ?? - maybe i have not read all the new rt-tests (holidays).. but they told me they did a lot of work for the new version

They re-cam the 998 to add a little more torque and a little less hp. What is different is they moved the hp and torque down about 1000 rpms so it comes on quicker. I would love to try this setup in our RS. :doorag:

maybe i missed the post but i want to know the RPMS at 70 and 80 mph
in 5TH GEAR. keep us posted on the MPG . as it looks like the spyder RT is going to get less mpg than the GS.

i know you tried to answer my question with a you tube video but i can't

65= 4600
70= 5000
75= 5500
80= 5800
85= 6000
94= 7000
