Has anyone tried, or have any experience or knowledge about the Spyder-specific graphic decal sets available at http://www.autotrimdesign.net/items_78165.html (http://www.autotrimdesign.net/items_78165.html) ?

Are they good quality? Durable? Easy or hard to install yourself?
I'd like that silver set for my Spyder, but I REALLY love that red set, if I had a red Spyder.
Opinions please?

I added the Flame Graphic Kit 2 to my silver Spyder. Took about 4 hours, but went on easily. Take your time with anything going on the tank or rear fender, as you'll be putting a flat decal on a compound curved service. Be sure to get a bottle of their Rapid Tack Application Fluid - the small bottle is more than enough for any of their 4 kits. I have a blog on my Spyder mods. Scroll towards the bottom to see the graphics on my Spyder. http://spyderman55-custom.blogspot.com/

Thanks for answering... those look awesome! I was wondering how that set would look on a silver spyder. I thought it might look good, but it looks better than good! Great job.

I ordered a more subtle set, the all silver fade flames. I'm after something not quite as bold or radical change in appearance. I did order 2 of the 4 oz bottles of the Rapid Tack. Glad to hear that will be enough. Watching the installation videos on their site was helpful, too.

I'm going to have to play with placement a little - I want something on my saddlebags and something on my fairing.

I finished this application. For anyone else interested, thought I would report on my experience. I called the company to find out if I had ordered the right product, because there was some confusion (to me at least) on the website on color selection. I failed to notice small print on the picture saying the picture shown was "black fade", so I ordered silver, as it looked silver to me. There was no choice called "black fade" on the drop down menu, just black.
Anyway, a helpful woman changed the order for me to the black fade, and also let me order some extra pieces "ala cart" so I could adapt them for my fairing, rear fender and hard side cases.
It took me about 5 hours... but it was a gorgeous 70 degree sunny day and I was moving at a liesurely pace. It wasn't difficult doing the wet method with the Rapid Tac product and squeegee. I had difficulty with the first very large trunk piece, getting it to conform to a long curve, but on the second piece, I cut between the flames to ease the curves and it was much easier. A blow dryer on "high" is also useful if you get a wrinkle somewhere - will take it out.
I'm extremely pleased with the results.... check it out here

Everyone's amazed when I tell them I did it myself. So I would suggest to anyone, don't be afraid to tackle this project yourself.

Both your Spyders look just like the ones on the Auto Design website!! Good job with the application! These smaller kits are just the thing for a more subtle accent!

:2thumbs:Looks professional - your two front fenders are just begging for flames.
