BBQ In September

Can anyone tell me a little about the upcoming BBQ that Lamonster is putting on. I live in Colorado and was thinking about a trip (1,400 on way one) is there lodging close by. Is it for everyone, I have a buddy that rides a harley and we are thinking about a road trip. Is it a one day event? And last is there anyone out this way that we/I might hook up with for the ride?
