Australian 10000K service costs

Any Aussie's out there that can give me a rough indication what I'm up for when I go in to pick her up next week. The dealer can't tell me as mine will be the first to 10000K's apparently.:dontknow:

I cant help you with an answer, but I'd like to know what they charge you as I now have 8500km on mine. So I'll be due in about 3 or 4 weeks.

OK, Spyders back after 10000K service and steering recall.
I can now tell all you Aussies that the service was $735, thats about what I expected so no drama.;)

Do you know if they checked the valve clearance. I got a price from my dealer and they told me $1000-$1100 if they do the valves.
Or $500-$600 if the valves aren't done. :popcorn::popcorn: Ouch.....

my 10000km service at gold coast sea doo cost $343.44.the 20000km service will cost around $700.00.check the australian spyder site .
i don't think at 20000km you will need any valve adjustment.
i think you better talk to your dealer and show him the cost of service they charge in the rest of australia.

I dont have much choice in service centres, there is ONLY 1 Spyder dealer in Adelaide :dontknow:
I'm a little confused as to why Henks service was half the price of mine... surely a 10000K service should contain the same consumables and the same things should be checked, but like I said, I don't really have a choice.

Spark plugs removed and inspected
Engine oil and oil filter replaced
Coolant tested and topped up
Sump plug washer replaced if necessary
Valve clearances checked
Cam chain checked
EFI AND FUEL SYSTEM
EFI system chacked
Balanced throttle bodies
Idle speed set
Fuel lines checked
Air filter cleaned
CHASSIS
Brake fluid checked and replaced if necessary
DRIVETRAIN
Drive belt inspected and retentioned
CABLES
Adjusted and lubricated
LEVERS
Lubricated brake lever, clutch lever, gear lever and footpeg pivots
SUSPENSION
Headstem bearings checked and adjusted as required, tyre pressures checked and set
EXHAUST
Inspected for leaks
ADR EQUIPMENT
Healights, tailight and all other lighting inspected and checked
WHEEL
Wheel condition checked
BATTERY
Fluid level topper up if needed, terminals checked for tightness and corrosion, charge rate checked

Oil filter $36.47

Environmental Levy $5.00
