Been couped up to long and the rain held off so I talked the bride to take it a early morning ride to the Mulnomah Falls Lodge for breakfast. If you get there when they open at 9:00 on a weekday you have the dining room nearly to yourself, by 11 it’s full. Best chicken fried steak breakfast in Oregon and more than enough to split for two!177743177745177747177749

Easysuper,
The American Legion Lodge in Aloha is open to the public for breakfast on Sunday mornings. I haven't tried the Falls Lodge chicken fried steak, but the American Legion's is wonderful and huge and cheap. I'll have to try the Falls Lodge CFS for a comparison. Thanks for the heads up.
BTW, if you get on their email list, they send out a monthly newsletter that always has a restaurant coupon deal in it.

It doesn't open for breakfast until 9:00? I'd be chewing on the handlebars by then.:wrong:

Those breakfast destinations are great for going on either short or long rides. We did that a lot in Alaska. Have now found a few places in Arkansas too.

Don't Arizonans suffer from igloo fever about mid-August since it's too hot to ride during June thru September? :roflblack:

What is Cabin Fever!

From April until mid Oct. I am on the spyder, then from Dec to March I am usually on the sled.

I have about 1 month & half down time between the spyder and the Sled. :gaah:

Gonna be near 50* here, but the roads are covered with salt dust. No rain to clean roads = no ride.

I'll be headed to central Florida a few days after Christmas for a 5 day campout. It's a family tradition :joke:
