Today is a 'Normal Friday'.
Next week we will have a 'Friday the 13th'.
Just curious if you do anything differently with the, 'FRIDAYS'.
The Good, The Bad or maybe the Ugly?...

 Post your deal, and let's be kind..... Thanks for your time.

Every friday the 13th, no matter the weather. Motorcycle folks and their bikes gather in Port Dover, Ontario. Attendance varies greatly to the season and weather. Maybe only a couple hundred in a snowstorm. 100,000 on a hot day in July.

Only 75,000 in September. Here is a video I found on YouTube for September 2019. https://youtu.be/q8BIN7gRMtM

I did not go this year.

That first scene was a pedestrian slalom. Very impressing - thanks for the vid.

Are you one of those who looks forward to Fridays and hates Mondays? If so let me clue you in! There is one way Monday is MUCH BETTER day than Friday! It's seven days until the next Monday, not just three!!! :ohyea:

I was born on "Good Friday" the 13th (of April)! Every Friday the 13th while he was alive my father always called me and wished me Happy Birthday. Miss him a lot! Now I have a handful of friends who carry on the tradition in his honor. Cracks me up when one of them wishes me a Happy Birthday on FB and all the "acquaintances" who don't know any better chime in.

He is testing the 'Friday The Thirteenth' theory.

I had the same problem. But now I have learned the secret of how to reset my week. Sunday is when the "fat newspaper" is delivered. Works for me. (Except when they screw around and deliver fat newspapers on other days during the holidays)..... Jim

That won't work here. The news paper only comes out once a week on Thursday. Just ain't enough news to fill one up every day. If somebody cat gets stuck in a tree it makes the front page.

Around here they call it, "The Suwannee Mullet Wrapper".

Oh yeah, go on A Spyder Ryde if the temperature works for you.

It is 55 degrees here, but it rained all night and it is going to rain all day and all night tonight too. I will let the Spyder rest today. I ain't going to melt, but I don't want to go mud bogging to get out the dirt road either.

Yeah, if you enjoy washing Jeeps. I drove my truck out and it is covered in mud now. No sense in washing it. Still raining and I have to go back out again tomorrow.

Normally I don't do anything special, but today a neighbor is hosting a block party with BYOB at 3:00pm and it should be around 70 degrees, going to get a little ride in before than.

70 degrees, in MN, at this time of year? Weather really is weird, or are you in FL or AZ and not home?

I warded off the evil buy going out and buying an inexpensive lift from Harbor Freight. As long as I don't get crushed by it today I can claim it wasn't Friday the 13th that got me. I'm not particularly superstitious.

May have seen you on the road today. Went for a little ride with 8 other bikes (for food, of course). Two Spyders in our group and saw lots more on the road. We left Apache Junction and ate in Eloy. No wind, all sunshine, 70 degrees, no black cats or broken mirrors. Made it past the 13th without incident. I love winter riding...... (even though I had to sell the Spyder and am now back on my Goldwing) I miss my Spyder..... Jim

Last week, I went to get the Sunday newspaper from the front porch (we only subscribe to a Wednesday and Sunday edition) and it wasn't there. We called the newspaper's office and got an apology and a credit. Later that day, we realized that it was Saturday and laughed about the paper thing. The next morning, the Sunday paper was on the porch.
