Hello Spyder Lovers

I need some help, I watched the you tube video on taking on the rear tire on my 2012 Can AM Spyder Rt, I removed the position sensor, the shock bolt, brake calipers, belt and removed the axle bolt, but tire will not move. Plus the previous owner put on hitch, I was able to remove the nuts to take off the hitch, but the last two bolts will not slide out, because one bolt hits the rear sprocket and the other the rotor. I figured no issue once I removed the axle bolt I would able to move the tire and then bolts would slide out, no such luck, about ready to reassemble and take it the dealer. What did I miss?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You removed the hitch axle. Slide the side plates off. This reveals the axle. Remove axle, wheel will drop. Remove belt from pulley. Roll out. Done. Joe
As always, call if you need help. Number below. Joe

Thanks. Went out, removed the hitch and exposed the axle bolt, will remove tire tommorow. What type of tire machine did you tell me to ask for?

Not an unusual dilemma. Looking at the hitch, most people think the 4 side bolts hold it on. Not the case. The hitch bolt goes through the hollow axle bolt. The axle requires 36mm socket an wrench. Just make sure you do not disturb the wire for the speed sensor too much because that can result in problems. When removing the hitch I start by undoing the fastener for the speed sensor wires and moving that aside. Gives a bit more room for torquing the axle..... Jim
