My previous FARKLE, now modified,
2 years ago I fitted a wiper and washer to the windshield despite all the input about scratching the screen, but only a few minor scratches as I reckon most people don't fit a wash system, scratches easily removed with headlamp restorer
Now modified with new home made control box incorporating,
Wipe continuous
Wipe intermittent, 2 wipes every 15 seconds
single wipe
wash with single wipe
Also incorporating a low power LED under the control box to give me some idea where to find the dipswitch with thick gloves on a dark night (pity BRP didn't think of that)
The last photo is the int wipe control module from Ebay for about $4.
All I need to do now is order some stickon letters, or who knows at my age, which button I will remember to push to wipe.

Goldwings in Japan were famous for wiper blade on them back in the day, nice set up.

Very clever. I settled for putting Rain X on mine. Works well for me :doorag:

That is a great job. Hope you enjoy it. Isn't it fun to do something that "they " say can't be done?:2thumbs::roflblack::ohyea:

If you do use Rain-X on your windshield, be sure to get the version made for plastic. Original Rain-X even says for use on glass only on the packaging- it will eventually ruin a plastic windshield.
