My wife really likes the looks of Show Chrome top fender light Lamonstergarage carries. I like the install plug and play. So its a win for both sides. Since I a ripping everything apart, Can you see the top fender light blinking during the day? Is it bright enough to see. I might install them instead of the mirror turn signal indicators first.

I have the TricLED ones, a friend has the show chrome ones. The TricLED ones are MUCH brighter, and can be seen during the day

Does the top fender TricLED blink with turn signal or do you have to buy the some sort of module? Is the Top fender light the $249? Does that kit also have the back of the front fender light? Does the back light on the front fender also blink or only the top?

Is this the correct unit? http://store.valueaccessories.net/2013FenderLEDCanAmSpyderAll.aspx

Both top and back of the fender lights blink. The blinker module came with the lights. The package I bought also came with the lights for the sideways diamond in the saddlebags. These do not blink, but do light up.

Are the TricLed ones plug and play like Lamonster, or do you have to cut/splice wires?

do not buy showcrome not bright buy tricled

I probably would if they had a video of the installation or at least pictures of the connections. But Lamonster makes buying/installing his stuff so much easier with the videos.

The ones from Tric are NOT plug n play and they splice into the wiring harness with vampire connectors. I have lost count of how many I have had to repair. Great leds, awful installation kits and poor after sales support. Get the ones from Spyderpops or Lamonster (same units)

do not buy showcrome not bright buy tricled

The ones from Lamonster and Spyderpops are plainly visible in daylight. The lights are about the same brightness as the ones from Tric. We have installed many of both, the big difference between them is the high quality plug n play harnesses you get from Spyderpops vs the vampire connectors Tric supplies that fail regularly. Then there is the MUCH better after sales support.

I bought the TricLED. I had a couple people in message me and BCR960 sent me a video of it working. Several say that you can't see the blinker and that the TricLed is way brighter during the day. I bought the kit from Value accessories- for some reason it is cheaper than TRICLED's site. Same numbers and all. Everything is plug and play accept for splicing into the turn signal. I am looking at it right now. I am installing them this weekend so will know for sure. Looking at the kit the only non plug and play is the turn signal. The installation looks the same as Lamonsters video. I didn't see you had to pop the top of the fender off to run the wire from the rear light to top in the channel in Lamonster but TRICLED does provide directions. I will report back Saturday or Sunday. It looks pretty straight forward. Remove the mirror, panel, headlight same steps as Lamonster, remove wheel, fender, top channel on the fender. drill one small hole for wire. plug both lights on one side together and run jumper to headlight. Plug in using harness provided. run turn signal wire to mirror turn signal. That uses a T clip spice and put it all back together. The kit does specifically say plug and play accept turn signal option.

Thanks!!! I am going to hold off till you get it done and please let me know how it worked!

Installed them today and here are the facts...... They can be seen "for sure" during the day. "Both" the top and rear no problem. Even if the sun is hitting them straight on you can see them blink. "Everything" is Plug and play ACCEPT the turn signal. You do have to cut the tape and use the T-clip the "yellow and grey" on the other side. I do have to say the yellow wire supplied to run to the turn signal is "very very" thin and is solid not standed. I do think it will bend and brake eventually but simple fix-#20 multi strand wire will replace. The actual hardest part a first was removing the top of the fender channel. It is very easy if you look from the inside there is a small tap. Push the tab out towards the bike and it unclips right off easily. The first side took about 30 minutes the other side took about 10 minutes after I figured how to remove the top fender channel. Get some 4" and 8" zipties. I used 10 on each side. It was really simple. About an hour and 45 minutes to remove all the trim, headlights, wire the 2 LED's complete, Oil change and install the magic mirrors and put the plastic back on. The other thing is if you already have the bumpskid they supply extra plug and play for that. I don't understand why they wouldn't supply 2 extra and then no T-clip would be needed at the turn signal. My only worry is the thin yellow wire. I will be replacing it as I see it getting worn down the road. Maybe not but I think that is the only weak link. in conclusion......TRIC LED Is all plug and play accept the turn signal

Thanks so much for this report!!! Just to be clear the "plugs" for the plug and play, were they the same as the oem plugs, just put it in the middle?

The kit has the waterproof Large oem plug under A-arm with the same little square mounts that spyderpops us. The rear fender light has a small square plug that plugs into the modular. The modular has a small square plug that plugs into the provided oem splitter plug under the A-arm. (Yes same OEM plug) They also provide a splitter that will allow an additional LED like the spyderpops bumpskid. If the bumpskid is installed already, then you don’t need to use the plug for its already provided by spyderpops. Everything has the little square plugs like everyone else uses and the oem plug is the same. Literally it is the same harness spyderpops uses on their bumpskid. I held both side by side and they are the same. The only splice is the T-clip into the turn signal. You then crimp the provided bar onto the end of the yellow just as lamonster does. Lamonster has a plug and play for the turn signal. Everything else is the exact setup as lamonster or spyderpop accept the turn signal. I wrapped the T clip in tape and it is behind the headlight so I can’t see any problems. My only concern it the little thin yellow turnsignal wire. I personally think it is too thin. No problem fixing it though. Get a waterproof wire union, join under fender trim where it is waterproof and run it to the turnsignal and get a new bar. Simple done.

I bought mine from value accessories on our (spyderlovers) home page.
