(2015 RT-S Special Series) I took the frunk off to install Baja Ron's Shock adjusters. Cleaned out/off the radiators, and then I was looking at the fuse boxes. Noticed that the black box that holds the fuses has plastic clips that hold it into the black box bolted to the firewall. Being the Curious George that I am I unclipped it and pulled it forward a little. Hey! There's two 1/2" x 1-1/2" slots that go thru the firewall and you can see the radiator bottle behind there, and it's easy to slip wires up there and route them under the headlights to the front handlebar switches or anywhere else you might need to go. There's enough room behind the fuse wires to T-Tap into the wires for whatever light system needed. There's also the main wire terminal from the battery that I'm going to use for the electric plug for heated clothing or the jump start plug.

Tapping into wires in the bike's system can cause electrical problems and make the system go into limp mode or worse. It's best to use a separate fuse block for added accessories.

Isn't that how all of the added LED lights connect?

I don't know how/where places like SpyderPopS or LaMonster get their power from when they add farkles. Maybe they'll chime-in on this?

Here's what I did to add power outlets and not annoy the nanny: https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?116532-Fused-electrical-distribution-block
