Hi all, I'm happy owner of 900 Ryker Rally. Casual riding in alps where you're doing lots of turns and road changing its profile often showing me the need to redo suspension on the vehicle.
I will start with Baja Ron sway bar of course, however I would like to go wild and change all shocks on the ryker. I'm also planning to do performance upgrade which should unlock ~15hp so additional pressure for the suspension will appear.
I would be happy to hear your experience with different shocks mnfs aka M2/Elka stage 5.
I like elka as it has high flow regimen as well as piggyback reservoirs which will help in a longer rides. Only one thing stops me to go for it is the price for stage 5. I'm not sure whether it worth to pay such high price.
Please advise if u had an experience with Elka or M2 on a serpentine, bumpy roads, tracks. Alps roads are narrow, have different friction coefficients and might require very precise reactions. So I'll rely on your experience and kind advice.
After upgrade will do a detailed review for you with pics in Alps;)
Thanks!

I have no complaints on the M2 shocks on my RT. Way better than stock and talk with Marcus he will setup you up right . Customer service is outstanding!

I ordered an Elka rear shock 2 weeks ago and nothing. They said it takes 10 to 15 days. Does it really takes 15 days to adjust a shock or are they making it from scratch?

These shocks are custom built. Marcus spent 3 days getting this shock perfect for this bike. I don't think you can beat the price. I know you can't beat the quality of the shock or the ride. These Shocks are built 1 at a time, small business with a big racing history. The front end stays planted on the road. I would do it again. Thanks Marcus for a great set of shocks.

Ordered front shocks directly from Elka Canada 11 days ago, just received UPS tracking # this morning for Tuesday delivery so 15 days total including weekends.

Had Elka's on my Spyder and it was a world of difference.

I ordered mine on the 19th and LaMonster said they will ship directly from Elka "early next week"

I have set of Elka stage 4 shocks installed on my Rally.
The trike’s ride has transformed significantly, like day and night.
I think that stage 5 is an overkill.
Riding fast on paved or unpaved uneven surface roads improves by miles.
Comunication with John from Elka was smooth and informative.

Received and installed my Elka stage 3 front shocks today, takes about 30 minutes.

A short ride of 20 miles confirms these make a big difference in overall handling.
They especially get rid of most of the wheel hop and bounce at speeds.

The Ryker has a lot of feedback through the handlebars without power steering, the Elka's make for a more manageable ride.

Being able to adjust for a firm or soft ride is a big plus.
