My GPS stopped working today message on screen said disconnect and reconfigure app on smartphone anyone else have this happen? Using genius maps app

Yes just had it in for 1000 mile check up. Used the app earlier today unplugged it went in the store plugged it back in and will not work

Reboot smartphone. I've found sometimes I can't get either GPS app to open and tried every cable I have. What worked was turning the phone off, waiting a few minutes then turning it back on. Worked. I'm guessing we have to reboot once in a while, what with all the apps we keep open.

I have tried that only genius maps will not work I have reinstalled the app and still not working all other apps on bps work fine just not genius

Have you set the permissions? For any app to be allowed to open in the dash, it's required you to set permissions for each app. In the BRP Connect app - touch the menu bars - touch Settings - Touch Permissions and make sure they are set.

When you open any app in the dash the first time, you need to check the phone and click "OK" in the pop-up. Then it should work fine after that.

I checked all permissions still get message please disconnect and reconfigure your app on the smartphone on the spyder dashboard app works fine on the phone. Been waiting 3 days to here from genius support ��

All I can think of is are the apps up to date or the OS of the smartphone? What cable are you using? Some are just for power and we need one for power AND data. I use an Apple approved cable for my iPhone. What phone are you using? If Apple then it should be a 6 or newer phone.

I guess the dash is up to date? (Version 20.8) My iPhone just got an OS update. My BRP Connect is version 2.10.1.50 My Genius is 2.6.0.1.

Thanks for the help all apps,phone and spyder are up to date. This stop working after I reached my last destination I unplugged it went into the store came out plugged phone into spyder and it only works on phone now waiting for support to respond now.

Just outta curiosity, how's the bike's battery? I had to replace mine and when it was dying my bike would start but the dash wouldn't work. I could get music but then the screen would lock up. I replaced the battery and all works find. Weird.
