With all this talk about LED lights I seem to remember a post earlier where one spyderlover added to the thread with links to webpages that contained info about using LED lights and "how they work". For the life of me I can not find that thread having searched on every possible combination of lights , LED etc.

If anybody can remember the thread and can find it it would be much appreciated. I would like to be a little better educated on LED lighting and I believe those websites mentioned in teh thread were a good place to start.

Thanks.

I believe these were 2 of the sites listed in that post

www.superbrightleds.com (http://www.superbrightleds.com)

www.ledlight.com (http://www.ledlight.com)

Thanks Randy but this was not the info I was looking for. The posting I am looking for had links to websites that had information not about LED products but about how they worked, what load equalizers are and how they are used with LEDs. If memory serves me correctly there was also some banter back and forth between the spyderlover and Evan from No Magic Neon about the posting.

irish2themax I did go through all 500 postings and did not find what I was looking for so it would appear the sears on LED lighting does not quite capture the contents of the posting I am looking for. Hopefully somebody will remember it and point me in the right direction.

I'll try to help if you would further explain "how they work". Do you mean the technolgy behind them or how good they are?

irish there was a posting about LED lights a while back (can't remember exactly when) and one of the thread posters "got into it just a bit (my words not his)" with the magicman and in essence (I am paraphrasing a bit here) basically inferred that the NMN products were nothing but glorified LED load equalizers. If memory serves me correctly the magicman explained why his products are far superior to the simple load equalizers the spyderlover member was refering to. In his posting the spyderlover member did give a couple of links to websites explaining how LED lighting works. It is these links (actually the websites themselves) that I am looking for to help educate myself a bit more on LED lighting and its use in the automotive/motorcycle field.

Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Can you do a Google search on "LED Theory" "LED construction" or whatnot? There is a ton of info out there that you can find yourself and it should give you what you are looking for.

BJT unfortunately i tried this approach as well and 99.9% of the google results point at actual products and not just the theory behind LED lighting, techniques, strategies and supporting load equalizer info. If I was interested in buying products I would go to the NMN website and as such the google results have not helped much eithor ! I am about to give up my search !

There is alot of information on the subjects you are looking for at www.superbrightleds.com (http://www.superbrightleds.com) You just have to find the right page. I looked in the tail/brake light section and found some of the info you are searching for there.
