if anyone is interested my hubby & some of his friends are doing an Iron Butt 1000 Ride this Tuesday June 25th from Covington, GA to Atlanta then to Clearwater FL, & back. #1043 miles in 24 hrs. this will be a documented ride & submitted to the Iron Butt Association. if anyone is interested in joining i can have him post all the details.

ENJOY the FUN.. I have done 2 - 1000 miles in 24 hrs Iron Butt rides on my Honda NT700V. after you get the 1000 miles done, try the 1,500 miles in 24 hrs, way harder. I haven't tried this one yet. not done one on my spyder yet

The every other year 11 day Iron Butt Rally is on right now, started Monday, 17 June in Greenville, SC and they're now gathering for their first mandatory rest stop in Kennewick, Washington

Hope they pace themselves keep hydrated and stretch well at fuel stops. Your not joining them..? Good to see your post, let us know how it goes...:thumbup:

no i am not joining them, my 15yr old daughter is riding with him to get her certificate for an Iron Butt. she deserves it she rode to Oregon & back 3 yrs ago with them

the ride went well #1,034 miles in 19.5 hrs they have filed their paperwork to be accredited with the Iron Butt Association
