I might be able to help on the run form Mobile to Kissimee. I won't be able to make the entire trip but I can meet him just east of Mobile Bayway in Daphne and do a run to Tallahassee. I will have to check because I will have to make some arrangements to make it happen. I will PM you as soon as I know tomorrow.

Doru,
1. If we could get him to 1-75 instead of Tallahassee, could you pick him up there. I know you said Ocala. I am just trying to split the distance if no one else can help Forrest with this section of his ryde home.
2. Is Mobile to Kissimmee too far for him to go in a single day?

Forrest is feeling great today and thinks he is ready to ride. Thanks for responding and hopefully we can get the whole route covered.

I'm putting a tracking device on his bike and if he activates it often enough we will be able to see where he is. I can even post a link so everyone can track his progress.

This is what it's all about folks!

Good news! Forrest is in Mobile, AL and resting for another leg of the trip home tomorrow.

The updates didn't work as he didn't expose the transmiter long enough to the sky. Now that he knows why, we should be able to track him tomorrow.

Forrest wants everyone to know that he really feels Blessed to have so many SpyderLovers looking out for him.

New update! Talked to Forrest and he was west of Tallahassee, Fl having lunch with fellow Spyder Lovers. He still feels great and is having the time of his life knowing how everyone is watching out for him. Getting to meet other Spyder Lovers has been a great inspiration.

I personally can't express enough how pleased I am to be part of this forum. It's not about the Spyder as much as it is about great fellowship with other owners. When you observe other forums for other vehicles you won't find this kind of action not even forums for Spyders.

The rewards are much greater when you put others ahead of yourself and try to do what's right.

When I met Lamont I set back and observed, even though he was sick for the first couple days he was all about the Spyder Ryder and not about himself. Yeah, he has a great Spyder with many innovations yet still makes others first.

At the Red Carpet Event he actually missed out on the Bob's Big Boy event as he was trying to get an owners Spyder running so she could ride to all of the events on Saturday. Believe it or not another forum owner actually had the gall to criticize him as he was working on the Spyder, saying in front of others that he missed out on a great event and shouldn't have been there working on a Spyder. Bless you Lamont!

I guess I just had to say a couple words on such a wonderful day of celebration to also celebrate Spyder Lovers and their patriotism to each other.

NOW, go blow up some fireworks!

Mobile to Pensacola is approximately 60 miles. Pensacola to Tallahassee is right at 200 miles, and Tallahassee to I-75 (if using interstate all the way) is about 130 miles. Then South on I-75, I want to say it is about 185 miles to the Tampa area, so figure from that as far as a day's driving from Mobile. That does not take into account road conditions, weather, traffic, etc. What does he feel up to riding?
