Thanks Ron! I did sign up for DMVSR but they seem to focus on events closer to I-95. I'll look into Maryland Spyder Web.

Yes the was the Operation God Bless America ride that is done each year it is a great ride that has police escort all the way. They raised $36,000 for the Veterans at the VA hospital this year. Look for it next year it will be OGBA XXX (30 years).

As far as the next Ride not sure yet. I try and post local rides and events that I hear about. I do rides with CMA, Gold Wing, and I do some Patriot Guard Rider Missions and ride with some Legion Riders. No Spyder only groups in the area all the groups I mentioned accept all bikes. Some CMA people were talking about going to Johnstown Thunder in the Valley 2019 on sat or sun Jun 22 or 23 not sure yet.

I'm definitely going to Johnstown this year - rain or not! I'm staying in Indiana, PA, a nice back road ride from Johnstown.

Yes, we are out here! I'm another new ryder just east of Frederick. I also sent a message to MSW (before I was an owner) but did not get any response. I'll try again but maybe you and I can start our own group! :cheers:

Hi Rahine - I’m an MSW member from Chambersburg. Have you heard back from Paul Armstrong? We normally have a a Meet and Greet for the upcoming riding season in a March.

Still any Ryders out here around Frederick? I have passed some other Spyders on the road around here but has always been in passing while on the road with no chance to meet.

I tried joining MSW but got an email back from the organizer stating that they are pretty much done and over since covid hit and did not plan on anything else due to personal health issues.

I currently Ryde with DMVSR at their events but I was looking for other people closer to home in the western part of the state that want to ryde together out here in the western part of the state.

There is a lot more open space out here and don't have to worry about the eastern/ southern maryland traffic. I would like to find some other Ryders that enjoy the mountains and valleys of western maryland.
