View Full Version : Horn issues
Has anyone had a problem with the horn not working? I have a 2013 Spyder RT-S. Horn quit working. Checked the manual to see which fuse goes to the horn, but found no info on that. Any suggestions?

Right fuse box F5 20 amp. Also for the air suspension. What often happens is that the air suspension compressor has failed and causing the fuse to blow.
Thanks. Found the blown fuse and replaced it. Horn works now. We'll see if that takes care of it, or if there is a larger issue. Appreciate the help!

Horn not working would be a disaster. It is used to let the dog know I brought home some left-overs and she should meet me in the bike shop when I park.
Ok, replaced the fuse and the horn worked...right up until I started the bike. Then it blew again. Now what? Can the compressor be replaced? Can I do it myself? Or can I just unplug the compressor?

Time to get out the multi-meter and look for the reason the fuses are blowing. A short somewhere or something is causing the fuses to blow out. Find it and fix it.

Had the same experience last year, disconnected the compressor and by-passed the normal compressor "plumbing", just running a direct line from under the seat to the airbag.
Could you PM me with the details of how you did this? Thanks.

Ron, 2013 RT-S should use Relay R4 that would stop the leak down from the ACS Solenoid valve if you wanted to leave all original components in.
