RT Akropovic exhaust

Put a new Akropovic on my 2017 RTL and I like the sound. Just asking if the smell / burning is normal and how long?

Installing just about anything new onto an engine will produce some degree of burning/hot metal smell for a while (hours or possibly even a couple of days of operation!) But the MOST smell like that will occur when you fit a new exhaust component!! :shocked: So expect that smell to hang around for at least a couple of hours of operation, then gradually lessen as you get used to it & it burns off all the manufacturing oils & greases & 'cooks' as it cures the fibre sheeting. :thumbup:

And don't forget to enjoy all your ryding to the tune of a new sound track! :ohyea:
