Anyone with a 2019 F3 Limited, can you tell me the bulb type or number of the rear turn signal bulbs? For example, is it an 1156 socket type or one of the newer push in type bulbs. Thanks.

Read your manual all that info is in it.

Read your manual all that info is in it.

The manual only states the voltage, and wattage of the bulb, not the number. Thanks.

Found that to be true for the RT as well, bulb itself had the number on it. Replaced mine with LED.

Has anyone successfully replaced the rear turn signal bulbs on a 2019 F3L and not have the hyper flash?

I am being told that people cannot see the turn signals in the rear.

I am also thinking of changing the color to red if there is an LED bulb that won't hyper flash.

Thanks

I just installed amber LED turn signal bulbs and yes, they did hyper flash, but I watched Lamonster's video on how to cure it and it worked. It's really very simple, but a bit arcane.

So the Lamonster trick works on the 2019's?

No.
I guess my answer is too short so I am adding the rest of this useless verbiage so that Spyderlovers site will accept it.

Dammitall!! :banghead: And here I was thinking that was what emoji's were for?!? :dontknow: Besides, it was World Emoji Day last Friday, 17 July!! :roflblack:

Sorry, but I just hadta!! :opps: I've been waiting for a good opportunity to slip that 'World Emoji Day' news in, and there it was! :ohyea:
So now I'll return you all to the regularly scheduled program, and hopefully my little foray/off topic post won't detract too much from the REAL thread topic here.

It worked for me. FYI, the LED bulbs I used had some sort of circuitry that was supposed t prevent hyper flash. That prolly aided in the success of using Lamont's method. Here's a link to the bulb....

The procedure to calibrate the current load of the turn signal bulbs to prevent hyper flash. Only works on models with the color display from 2014 to 2017.
