I have a Yokohama rear tire. The rubber is harder than the stock. It will last longer if you don't do any burn outs. When I'm on it the tire will brake lose. Faster than stock tire. Next tire I'll look for a softer compound. I guess it's 6 of 1 and a half dozen of another. No trouble in the rain. And it rains hard in south Florida.

I used a yokohama car tire. Same size as the tire that came off the bike.

:lecturef_smilie: Update on this one... I finally installed it and took a close look. It is bi-directional... in other words, it was made to work on either side of a car... the sipes on one side will not drain the water correctly on wet roads.

I haven't run it in the rain yet... I will be extremely cautious. :yikes:
