Are we talking only the oil, filter/s O rings etc. Or are we talking supplies and labor..? What model, engine and transmission..?
For me...2012 RS sm5 using BRP blend kit bought online and doing it myself = $65.00 the se5 is like $80.00
Not familiar with the 1330 triple costs..

5 quarts of castrol full syn. on amazon for 33 bucks....A kn filter from there as well 7 bucks. Total 40 bucks.Use the rings 3 times. I change at 6000 miles 2014ST. The 10 40 or the 5 40 are both 37 bucks per 6 pack shipped on amazon today. Most times its aprox. 50 bucks a 6 pack. This is a fine motorcycle oil......Much better than the BRP Blend.

:agree:... with Not changing the " O " rings , washers etc.... If it leaks I will re-place them.. …. Rotella " T 6 " full syn oil ( after rebate ) $ 23.75 .. K&N filter $5.75 ( no labor - I don't charge myself :roflblack: ) ….Total $ 29.50 …………… and the satisfaction I can do this myself at 72..... It is getting to be a bit difficult to lift the RT and hold it level while I do the change :roflblack::roflblack::ohyea:...…….. I'm also in Canada and it costs me about $75 CAD to do a change.
I took the seals from a BRP change kit to a seal shop and had them make me some kits up with higher quality seals than what is supplied. ($11 a kit)
Order my filters online from Fortnine ($9) and get my oil from Amsoil. ($55)

Ok thanks Mike just the words heavy duty diesel scares me a bit in a gas engine. But it sounds like most are using it so I will give it a try. Thanks

Do you balance the bike on one leg and one hand Mike? It might help a little bit. It still leaves a leg and a hand to do the work.

I've always done them myself, and I've paid $85 and I've paid $40....it all depends on what oil you buy. I haven't seen any advantage to buying the more expensive oils. It's Rotella T6 for me next time. I DO think it helps to spend a little more on a quality filter though.
