This morning it was raining really heavy so perfect weather to test the Spyder on roads I know well. (I have a Ducati and these roads put the crap in me in the wet)..... WOW what a difference - the confidence in the road holding - rode faster in the wet with puddles etc than I could have in the dry on the Ducati. The feeling of turn in and the initial 'G' force (not leaning into the bend) is strange at first but in the end it feels more like driving a quad but with --ck loads more power...... :) :) totally hooked. Got to the car park by the beach and only one person there and within seconds of getting off he was there asking thousands of questions :).. Photo after got home - took off the touring screen ( have ordered a sport one )

Sunny today so lovely ride to local town... The faces of people ( double take ) as you ride past - priceless. First fill up of petrol - 287kms for 18.87 litres - over 43 miles:gallon :) :) :)

A couple years ago another Spyder riding buddy and I rode the "Tail of the Dragon" in a fairly heavy rain. We had the road to ourselves because the 2 wheelers didn't want to ride it in the rain. The rain was a lot easier to deal with than the crazies you can find on that road.

We live in Oregon (USA) and where we live we get 42 inches of rain average, for the year. That is one of the reasons we bought our Spyders.

Nice to see another fellow from Europe enjoying it's Spyder.

If you're in facebook look for the "Can Am On-Road European Riders" group ;)

Lovely ride this morning with my 9 year old boy on the back - '' its so smooth'' was his first words - it was nice and relaxing with him not hanging onto me with grim death ( as on the Ducati).......
