So I've seen 6 spyders in Colorado and I know there are more. One coming from Denver, one in Colorado Springs, one driving through Monument, and 3 in my town of Palmer Lake, 'one by itself and 2 guys from Denver'. I know someones on here from Grand Junction, and I think The Springs but wondering if anyone else is on here? Also wondering if any of you lucky people are riding through here on the way to LA? I would sooo love to go, but kids, work, ya know I can't ! Will bring the kids to go see it anyway! I'm just checking cause I saw most of those Spyders last summer, hundreds of bikes come from denver and from the springs on hwy 105 to stop at Omalleys in my little town of Palmer Lake, on the weekend on runs or just coming through and I just thought I would see more Spyders cause there are so many bikes around here sat and sun!

I am one of the ones from grand junction. there are 2 others that I know of for sure on here from grand junction. I know that there are 3 other spyders here in town but I have not seen them for myself. I will be loading mine up tomorrow if it will fit in the uhaul trailer and towing it to Virginia later this weekend. If all goes well I will be an east coast boy again and will hope and pray that the wife can adapt to the new life.

Will you be using a closed or open trailer? The only open one that UHaul has that fits is the 6X12 with no ramps, haven't seen a closed trailer from them that has a door big enough to get through.

I live in west suburbs of Denver and have only seen one other Spyder on the road and that was in Blackhawk. That is, of course, with the exception of the test rides out of RPM. I ride with a Valkyrie,a beemer, or a 32 Indian Chief depending on what hubby feels like riding on that day and a group of firefighters or cops who ride everything under the sun.

not sure what trailer I am going to use. I reserved the 5x9. I am going to take the spyder down there today and see what I can come up with. the only problem I have is the tow vehicle. I have a jeep wrangler so that means I have to watch how big I go with the trailer.

I live 30 miles east of Denver in Bennett. Ride mine into work 2-3 times a week, wish it was more but I have to have my truck the other days. Went to Moab 2 weeks ago for dinner on Thursday night, went wheeling with some friends on Friday, And rode back on Sat. I had a blast. Best bike I have had. Brian:2thumbs:

I just got back from a trip through AZ, NM, CO, UT, & NV, in my pickup truck, not my Spyder :( I traveled well over 2500 miles and I only saw one Spyder the whole trip. That surprised me because I expected to see more of them now.

The one I saw was somewhere around Colorado Springs while I was traveling north on I-25 and it was going south. Sometime around noon, on Sunday June 14.

Was that you?

That may have been me headed to Colorado City. Silver Spyder with a silver painted tour windshield. I do tailend charley escort rides for a number of beginner Harley riders. We were mustering at Rye for a ride to Bishops Castle through San Isabel Forest and 115 back to the Springs.

There are 5 other spyders here in the Springs. 2 Silvers (Barb, who runs the Motorcycle Museum has one) and 2 Yellow (one at a Pawn shop for sale) A local dealer has a Red one for demo rides.

A word of note - both Xtreme Performance Centers have closed up shop :yikes: the 1st of this month. Many of us now go to Denver :gaah:(RPM motorsports) for service.

But I do love this ride.

That's kool there are more out here than I've seen! I bought mine at Extreme and found Colorado's Great Outdoors off Fillmore, they seem nice and know what they are talking about. I was just talking about going to Bishops Castle! It would be kool to get a bunch of spyders all together out here someday!

It was a silver Spyder but I didn't get a good enough look at the windshield except that it was a touring size. So, while I wasn't in my Spyder, I may have seen you. As I mentioned in my posting, I was surprised that was the only one I saw on my 2500 mile trip through five states.
