Mother of the year. I think the fine was based on her weight.

Mother of the year. I think the fine was based on her weight.

I was actually hoping she would have to pay $10/lb & 1 day/lb. when i watched it.

Great cops. This video should be used to train cops here in the USA... because things would have been MUCH different over here... she would have been yelled at, hit, tasered or shot.

why knock the police in the u.s. when it is obvious this mother of the year was repeatedly at fault?

Anyone who doesn't realize the problems with American police compared to other countries is in denial of facts. Facts don't lie.

In my opinion, the punishment for this person was not near enough. The abuse she put the LEOs through and the endangerment she exposed the public to was amazing. Not to mention the example she set for her children. Is this the sad future of the next generation.....? Jim

Before reading the link you posted, I had pretty much made up my mind regarding what I would find, based on comments you've made over the years. I listened to it, and automatically felt the narrator would be giving a slanted point of view, as soon as he started to speak. So, then I googled police in Great Britain do not carry firearms, and found this article:

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/why-london-won-t-arm-all-police-despite-severe-terror-n737551

Is there an answer to the various policing policies between the U.S. vs European policies? If you do read the article I posted, I believe you'll find it's the citizens that make the difference.

By the way, I know we have drifted way past the original intent of the original post. But, this is SL's, and that is just the way it is.

Try being a police officer for 21 years and then give me your opinion.

Hey Dan!
What's the matter? Did a Judge get your shorts in a knot over your last encounter with Law enforcement? :D
