Piece of 10" long steel flat bar. Holes drilled and tapped into the max mount frame. Primed, painted and installed. Back support was off of something else (unknown origin) but you can buy similar on Amazon I presume.

Very creative and looks nice, and gives you back support. That's a win win in my book! cueman

That's awesome! I wondered about back support, because it doesn't look like BRP has one yet. Maybe I just missed it. Yours looks very factory!

Thanks, folks! Seriously, if your back is like mine, the effort is worth it!

Thanks for another great idea. Back support is a big deal for many of us. Makes those long rides (and sometimes even the short ones) possible.

Hi it looks real good tell me how did you remove comfort seat so you could fit your backrest how do you operate the catch underneath? To pop up the mechanism? Regards Nico75

10" X 2" X 3/16" steel bar, 4 thru holes, and bolted to the max mount via (Why 2) 1/4-20 tapped holes. Slips right behind standard seat and in front of the comfort passenger seat. I don't ever plan to remove the passenger seat. Theft deterent as well. Can't imagine riding long distances without the lumbar support. A must for me.

Wow that's what I'm looking for. I'll have to look into that! Have to wait for the garage to get warmer though. I have a really old back. I'm 74 and still riding. Thanks

Do you think it would fit in front of the Linq top case?
