had a look in the Operators guide and couldn`t find out how "strong" is the "Max Mount" which holds the seat of my passenger ..
but there is this sticker on it.. ?!? :gaah:

(where do I find a girl with less than 10Kg ??)

I figure if there is an application for 2-up, I wouldn't expect any really low weight limits. And that's kind of vague I know.
Merry Xmas :D

I think I read it was approximately 440lbs. And a little less for the Ralley Edition. cueman

someone said Maximum is 165 lbs (75kg) ...not really much if you have also some luggage ?!?

Only 165 LBS? That would be disappointing!

You would have to check the installation instructions for both the cargo rack and the passenger support. I would assume the 10kg is for cargo but they do not specify the passenger seat. The other would be the combined weight of both driver and passenger...

See that red circle with the slash through it ?? It’s right over where the passenger would sit. NO passengers!!

From the Owner's manual:

168655 168656

No mention of individual passenger weight, just the combined.

i would have expected the rally to be higher. i thought added "extra bracing" was one of the sales features of the upgrade

I would love to know what impact overloading would have. Would it be as simple as wearing out the OEM shocks through bottoming out and exceeding tyre capacities? Could it be rectified by ensuring you replaced shocks and tyres rated for the heavier weight, or is their more to it?

The simplest answer would be, should a wreck occur, or perhaps should some catastrophic Ryker failure occur or who knows what. Warranty would be void and any liability would not be honored, The opposing Lawyers would have a field day..................

My guess is the GVW rating is probably the same for both vehicles and the lower carrying capacity of the Rally is due to a difference in dry weight of the vehicles.....? Jim

That’s my thought. Likely the added shielding panels cause the capacity weight to go down...
