Who's going to settle in to watch the Parades in the morning, and then follow that up with all three of the NFL games?

There are 10k+ folks in Northern Kaliforna that "if" they get a thanksgiving dinner it will be served up by the red cross, salvation army, one of the many churches, or one of the other disaster relief agencies. There are also many unamed private food venders volunteering their time and monies for the mass devastation victims. We now know for sure that there are 82 individuals that will never see another thanksgiving, and we also know that number will increase as days of searching continue. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers for these unfortunate people and their children.

We're not only thinking off and praying for them, though that is a prime response to devastation such as the fires, the hurricanes, and so much more.
We're also fund raising for ARC (https://www.redcross.org/), SA (https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/help-disaster-survivors/), and Samaritan's Purse (https://www.samaritanspurse.org/our-ministry/nam/#volunteer-now) and Reach Global (https://www.efca.org/ministries/reachglobal/crisis-response) as they are among many that have teams of relief workers mobilizing to CA, NC, and FL in response to this years USA disasters.
We just got back from a rebuilding week for folks affected by Hurricane Harvey in Aug of '17. There are STILL many, many families not yet living in their pre-Harvey homes.
I know many of us are so blessed (after all we ride or talk about Spyders on our computers/tablets/phones to be here), we can all bless others just a bit (or a LOT if you can). But praying for others or sharing your concerns with others is also something we can continue to do.

Each year at Thanksgiving, I count my blessings.
This year, because I live in Florida, I have to recount them!

Happy Thanksgiving to all, so happy and thankful for everything.
Our best wishes for all of those that are not so fortunate and have been affected with the storms and fires,
and thank you to all the Armed Services that are protecting us and can't be home with their families at this time.

Happy Thanksgiving from Alaska. I want the Pecan pie...NOW.

I love Pecan Pie but it is just too sweet, then my lovely bride found a recipe from the 20's that predates Karo syrup and It is soooo good.
