I don't have an RT but have done it on my F3S, several times during my journey to find the perfect sound. Do you have a spring tool? If not, you can use some strong cord or the like to loop around it and make it long enough to give you a better angle to pull with.... It is a bear, BUT YOU CAN DO IT!

Here is an example of a spring tool that I'm referring to:

When searching for one I would buy the longest one you can find. With that said, I still used a helmet hook cable I had to add to the length of mine to give a better pulling angle...

Yes the springs look to be another challenge however I was talking about the rubber hanger on the top center of the largest part.

Hook it on top, then use a 18” rod or extension to push it on the bypass hook. There is room. I use a 3/8” long extension. The springs are simple; use a piece of parachute cord, and have a helper pull from the rear while you guide the hook. 20 minutes, max.

Ok guy my bad
I should have gave more details. I was doing many things all at the same time. 1) I needed a new tire had 23k miles on my General Altramax GT43. Down to ware notification so off it comes. 2) removing by pass pipe and putting back on primary muffler. 3) Putting on air bag protection cup.
The problem I was having hooking up top hanger turns out was an issue with having tire off and swing arm hanging too low cause the lower shock mount was still disconnected with the tire still off. My solution was to prop up the swing arm and easy peasy the rubber hanger slipped right on both pins.
Thank you for the para cord idea for the springs. With my son's help pulling all 3 springs went on no problem.
I want to thank everyone here on SL for always helping us who are NOT mechanically gifted. I wouldn't even dare to try some of these basic things without you all.
