Looking to buy this top case with hardware, but wanted to see who may have/had one, if they used it and if it was easy to take on and off. Does anyone know if it fits a helmet?

Not crazy about about paying ~$500 for a new one :opps:

:2thumbs:Fits my HJC xl modular 166268 test the mount & works like my saddlebags. I have a new unused on I was planning on selling later in yr. FYI You still need the sports rack219400428 $434 & backrest 219400350 $650 so ur $500 estimate is more like $1500+ labor , can diy if you feel able.
(part #are for carbon black the ONLY color the topcase is available).

Thanks so much! Glad it fits a helmet. I do have the backrest as I have a 2013 ST Limited so won’t need that. But, the Can-Am site says that the case attaches directly to the backrest. I wonder if the rack comes with it then?

Np:thumbup: maybe this will help, but just having a limited does not include the required backrest or sports rack:lecturef_smilie: http://instructions.brp.com/content/instruction-sheet/en_CA/e-instruction-details.html#articleNo=kA0a0000000l1uYCAQ&lang=en_CA&title=ROADSTER%20KIT%20-%20Top%20Case&rel_part_number=219400476

I recently ran into this myself with new-to-me 09 GS. Here is the instruction manual for all things concerned re: this top box and it's required hardware: http://instructions.brp.com/content/instruction-sheet/en_CA/e-instruction-details.html#articleNo=kA0a0000000l1uYCAQ&lang=en_CA&title=ROADSTER%20KIT%20-%20Top%20Case&rel_part_number=219400476

Box itself is a single-button to remove. Then there are the single hex-head bolts that keep the mount plate attached to the back-rest, and another for keeping the back-rest to the bike tail itself (single hex-head each). So yes, can take all of it off fairly quickly. I have this box you are searching for as available as I am using an other bigger from a previous bike.

And as has also been previously mentioned, the overall setup of these "OEM parts" will set you back quite a bit, IF you can locate them all
