Has anyone ever traveled the Dalton Highway? I was wanting to get a trip together to Alaska next spring and would love to go all the way up but the highway has alot of places that are dirt.

I’m pretty sure that Joy’s trip included Dalton Highway here is her post on the trip. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?27462-To-Alaska-and-Back and this is from the trip I went on -didn’t do the Dalton Highway though. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?81481-North-to-Alaska-Blog&highlight=North+alaska

Paved to the Arctic Circle, we've been researching it as well, and have had a resounding don't take a spyder up through the unpaved sections north of the Arctic circle. Though I've yet to hear of anyone who has. Had many an anecdotal statement that the VSS sensors might get gummed up, Spyder might get high centered on middle berm of two tracks, etc.
But there is another Spyder rider Joerolwing (http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/member.php?22230-Joerolwing), planning on at least to the AC sign.
